A test for mold was positive after the owner hired outside personnel to get this specified "warranty" service. Ryan Homes customer service disregarded the consequences of out door water intrusion for months prior. Ignoring the issues so long  led to mold contamination in the drywall. The water contamination was not purified water but rain water (explanation) that often carrier microorganisms such as mold spores. Ryan Homes disregarded the homeowners concerns about mold until an outside contractor verified the levels were high by air sampling. The issue caused the home owner severe respiratory distress and illness, and health damages proved apparent on a Chest CT scan. Further medical testing is pending. Remediation has been attempted.
